There is no certitude in the things we see. They are just perceptions and impressions, either simplified or made more complex by life experience, which is influenced by our interactions with objects/ things within a dynamic but confined sphere - our minds. What we see are just perceptions defined by one's thought-processes.

Inspired by the human responses in the Rorschach test, the artist uses and adapts the inkblot images to illustrate her concept of the fine line between impressions, perceptions, interpretations and truths. She encourages one to continue to investigate and seek deeper for answers and be intrigued by more ideas and the beauty we discover in this process. By imprinting the images of NTU trees from Singapore onto the inkblots, Teo established a close connection of this idea with her community and space where she spends much of her time.
